On Tuesday, September 17, 2013 the Leigh High Valley IronPigs hosted the East Coast Hitch at their home stadium, the Coca Cola Park in Allentown, PA. The Budweiser Clydesdales were there to support the minor leagues with an appearance at the championship game between the Durham Bulls and the Omaha Storm Chasers.
The thousands of baseball fans cheered as the Budweiser Clydesdales paraded up to the front of the stadium, where they stayed for an hour at the baseball tailgate to take pictures with fans prior to going into the stadium for the national anthem.
Once inside the stadium the Clydesdales flawlessly travelled around the baseball field where the crowds cheered. The Championship trophy was carried in on the wagon and dropped off at home plate, where the Clydesdales then went behind 2nd base under the American flag for the National Anthem and Starting line ups.
Some of the continuous remarks as the on looking crowd came to take pictures of the World famous Budweiser Clydesdales were, "They are absolutely gorgeous." and "They are simply amazing."
