This past Sunday, the Budweiser Clydesdale East Coast Hitch visited Detroit, Michigan to help celebrate the grand opening of a new Meijer store.
The Clydesdales brought almost 300 people together to celebrate the business opening. This was the first big box store opening inside of Detroit in nearly 40 years – a sign of hope amidst a financially-struggling city.
The crowd was awed by the size and “magnificence” of the Clydesdales – towering at more than six feet tall.
