There may not have been snow on the ground, but the city of Lakeland, FL sure made it feel like Christmas for the Budweiser Clydesdales as they joined in the 33rd annual Christmas Parade. A vast crowd of 40,000 to 50,000 anxious spectators lined the paved roads with glee and excitement as the beloved draft horses gallantly paraded down the streets. Through the cheers and applause that filled the evening air, each loving fan made the night one to remember!
From the start to the end, the enthusiasm and blissful claps that radiated from the enormous crowd could be heard from the street and buildings all along the route. In a jovial blend of festive holiday colors that adorned windows and the Clydesdale wagon, the parade made for a magnificent beginning to one of the most loved season of the year. For many present, seeing these cherished icons for the first time was the gift of a lifetime. Their dazzling beauty and grandeur was a wonderful reminder of how special Christmas time really is. It was the perfect way to start the Holiday season for the Budweiser Clydesdales!
