Jack, one of our large wheeler hitch horses, was quite the showstopper on Wednesday as he stood majestically during his time on The Today Show. A massive gelding, Jack held strong to the title ‘gentle giant’ as he and some lucky fans interacted during the show. But the limelight wasn’t just for him. He was representing all the Clydesdales as they celebrated the first airing of the now-famous Budweiser Super Bowl commercial, “Puppy Love.”

To round out a jam-packed week of appearances, the East Coast Hitch team was able to hitch up the 8 Clydesdales once again for a fantastic show at Fox and Friends. Fox and Friends showed the behind the scenes segment of “Puppy Love” and, in case anyone missed it, “Puppy Love” itself was replayed. Again, the horses wowed the city as the hitch paraded down the street.
It is not every day that New Yorkers get to have the experience to interact with Clydesdales on their way to work or running errands! No one could resist a quick picture or the opportunity to ask a question about these magnificent horses. One man even said, “You have to love living in New York, because you never know what cool things you are going to see just by going to work. What an awesome surprise this morning!” The excitement was felt not only by the crowds and the studios, but the handlers as well who were very proud to be part of a spectacular week just in time for game day!
Thanks to the people of New York City for all your support during Super Bowl week!
