The highlight of a week in beautiful Plymouth, MA was being able to participate in "America's Hometown Thanksgiving Parade" on Saturday, November 22, 2013. The day could not have had more perfect weather for a late fall day on the north east coast. The Clydesdales proudly marched through Plymouth's streets with resounding cheers by onlookers on such a momentous occasion.
In addition to the excitement of participating in such a joyous event, being able to travel by Plymouth Rock and a replica of the Mayflower made the day extra special. The people of Plymouth and surrounding areas really made the Budweiser Clydesdales feel welcome. Putting together shows and arranging travels for such meaningful events like this Thanksgiving parade requires careful planning and proper execution. Special training for these kinds of events and shows is often required for handlers, drivers, and the cherished horses. Through this training and practice, every show is sure to fascinate and astonish.
Whether in the East Coast or the West Coast, it is a magnificent experience to see the stunning hitch of draft horses parading in full splendor. No matter the occasion, the cheering crowds and smiling faces of blissful children and adults make every Budweiser event worthwhile. From beer deliveries to special events such as this one, these amazing horses present hundreds of loving fans and spectators with a once in a lifetime experience.
