THE FOLDS OF HONOR MISSION: EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Of the one million-plus dependents adversely affected by deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, over 87% do not qualify for federal scholarship assistance. We assist those by providing annual educational scholarships in $5000 increments. Our programs help support private education for elementary, middle and high school students as well as higher education opportunities for spouses and children. We honor those who fought for our freedom by serving the families they leave behind.

About Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to empower military families by providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation. To date, over 7,500 scholarships have been awarded. Founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, a former F-16 pilot, PGA Professional and USGA member, a Major in the Air National Guard and a decorated military aviator, Rooney has served three combat tours in Iraq. After returning from his second tour, Major Rooney witnessed a profound situation that drove him to create the Folds of Honor.
